Join us at Wakeman Town Farm on Saturday, June 11 for our second annual EcoFest from 11am - 3pm, rain or shine.
The day starts with the season opening of the Wakeman Town farmstand from 9AM - 1PM. Our farm stand features produce grown right on the farm, fresh cut flower bouquets, WTF Logowear, WTF Honey, and hand-selected products from CT local vendors, such as artisan bakers, jams, goat soaps + lotions, maple syrup, and more!
Join us at 10AM for goat yoga. Get your yoga on while our goats graze and jump in their pen next to you!
Starting at 11am, shop a curated collection of Fairfield County sustainable goods vendors and local artisans.

⁃ handmade soaps, body butter and essential oils, skin and hair care products for teens
⁃ candles, bags, clothing, and more.
While you shop green, the kids can enjoy a project with our director of education, Chryse Terrill, get their face painted, apply tinsel to their hair, or visit with the Farm animals, including our fuzzy alpacas and our new baby goats. Our animal care expert, Judy Panzer, will be on hand to answer questions for inquisitive young minds.
Come hungry! Tony Napolitano Pizza will be slinging his famous wood-fired pizza throughout the event.

Bwwaack, bwwaack! We’re crowing about our EGGcellent three-session Chicken Keeping series designed to offer the novice an introduction to raising chickens responsibly at home. The series is broken into three sessions. Take one, two, or all three! At the end of the series, you will have the opportunity to “adopt” two of the chicks we’ve raised on the Farm, as well as bring home your own handy starter pack, including feeder, waterer, wood shavings and 5-lb bag of organic feed! Come on down to the Farm for an old-fashioned pancake breakfast, and bring the kids! We’ll be serving up flapjacks + sausages with all the fixin’s, plus coffee and OJ. As a bonus: If the weather cooperates, you’re invited to take a walk around the Farm and say hi to our friendly alpacas, sheep, and goats. Psssst...You will also have the opportunity to meet our five new Nigerian Dwarf Goat babies (kids). They are a riot!
Wakeman Town Farm is hosting this down-home breakfast FUNraiser to raise the final installment of funds to renovate the Farm’s aging Big Red Barn. The old Wakeman family barn will be brought back to provide sorely needed space for programs and classes for the community. We have raised 2/3 of the proceeds to make this happen. Your participation and donations will help push this project over the finish line and make it a reality!
This old-time pancake breakfast will be served outdoors on the picnic tables. In the event inclement weather, we will pack “to-go” boxes for each family for you to pick up during your time slot.
